Programming is a Poetry, a Haiku in itself,

Its libraries are multitude, no fewer than a shelf,

This is where art and science meet up, and look what it produce,

With single click of Run button, your problems are reduced.

Programming is a Poetry, ‘tis metered with its Math,

It follows a strict compliance, fixed length is where it sat,

But other times it could be free, as free as poet’s mind,

Unbounded by old strategies, new Language you can find.

Programming is a Poetry, it signifies your mind,

It may be buggy at some times, can’t see it like you’re blind,

There’s good old Syntax Highlighting, it can color your path,

Intelligent intelliSence, code suggest just like that.

Programming is a Poetry, a rhyme for your ALGOL,

As Sharp as a Java Coffee, as Agile as COBOL.

BASIC as Dot Net and JS, Pure as Ruby on Rails,

Binary or Hexadeci, script legends and type tales.

Programming is a Poetry, I journey via Text,

Backed by Conditions and Functions, my Algorithm’s next.

And while awake at 4am, I cannot hide my frown.

I’ll take a nap and code again, for now I click shutdown.
